Frequently Asked Questions About Registration
Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends?
Yes, when you complete the registration process, you will receive a user name and a password. Its use is limited solely to you.
What if I forget my password?
We are not able to retrieve your original password, however you can request a new password for your account.
Why should I register for ACS Online CME?
Without registration you have access to the course descriptions, abstracts, full text and PDFs. You cannot access quizzes or My CME functions without registering.
Registration provides additional functionality:
- Take the quizzes online.
- Receive instant feedback on selected answers.
- Submit completed courses for CME credit. (Note: Credit is earned on an course-by-course basis)
- Print CME certificates for successfully completed exams.
- Review credits earned through My CME interface.
Can institutions sign up for IP based registration?
No, ACS Online CME does not offer IP based Institutional registration or access. It is only available to individuals.
